The Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Program provides communities with opportunities to pursue federal funding for transportation safety planning and implementation projects. Adoption of a comprehensive Safety Action Plan positions local governments and regional partners to compete for future grant funding that supports roadway safety improvements.

The completed Regional Safety Action Plan will establish a framework for identifying and prioritizing projects that may be eligible for future federal, state, and local funding opportunities. By developing a coordinated regional strategy, communities throughout the Apalachee Region will be better prepared to pursue investments that improve safety for all roadway users and support long-term transportation goals.
