The ARPC is excited to announce its newest department and begin to provide housing assistance to local governments throughout the Region.

We recognize housing as fundamental to an individual’s health and well-being. Equitable housing efforts focus on safe infrastructure, affordability, accessibility, habitability, and cultural adequacy. Based on geographic location of the Apalachee Region, and the frequency of natural disasters that effect the Region, ARPC is committed to providing technical and local assistance for housing disaster recovery.

Currently, the ARPC Housing staff is working directly in Calhoun County with the Hurricane Housing Recovery Program (HHRP) and Rebuild and Restore (R&R). For more information about these programs or additional information on housing efforts in the Region, please contact ARPC Housing Staff Donald R. Morgan or Amber Zies at 850.488.6211 x 113.

Apalachee Regional Planning Council is committed to ensuring that this website is accessible to everyone. ARPC strives to adhere to the accepted guidelines and standards for accessibility and usability. To that end we have recently reviewed our entire website to identify non-compliant elements
or documents and to bring them into compliance. We are continuing this process to ensure that the site remains up-to-date regarding updated guidelines. We are continually seeking solutions that will bring all areas of the site up to the same level of overall web accessibility.
